FPS Certification: Difference between revisions

The FPS (First Person Shooter) Certification is designed to certify Rescue Squad members with skills in ground combat. Similar to our Fighter Pilot Certification, candidates will undergo a series of exercises showcasing their combat abilities. The breakdown below provides an overview of each rank and the expected actions the candidate must complete to achieve that certification level.

PLEASE NOTE: Full adherence to the Rescue Squad One uniform policy is required. Failure to meet expectations will result in the removal or demotion of the certification level.

FPS Certification Levels

FPS LVL 1

Demonstrates basic competency in firearms handling and maneuvering.

This level is completed either during boot camp or as part of the initial onboarding process.

FPS LVL 2

Focuses on combat fireteam training against NPCs in a hostile environment, supervised by a Gunny.

Candidates may request advancement to Level 2 upon the initial submission to the FPS program.

FPS LVL 3

Requires completion of 10 public FPS Arena Commander games with proof of leaderboard placement at the completion of each match.

Matches must include at least 10 players, and the candidate must rank in the top 75% of the lobby (e.g., 7th place or higher) at the end of the match.

FPS LVL 4

The highest rank, achieved by demonstrating unmatched ground combat skills and securing first place in matches against other FPS Level 4 members.

This rank is contestable, allowing a Level 4 member to challenge the highest-ranked member for their position.

FPS LVL 5

The highest rank, achieved by demonstrating unmatched ground combat skills and securing first place in matches against other FPS Level 4 members.

This rank is contestable, allowing a Level 4 member to challenge the highest-ranked member for their position.

FPS Gunny

Gunny-certified trainers oversee testing within the FPS program.

This role exists outside the standard FPS rank structure and is neither a replacement for nor a tier above other ranks.
