Communications Guide

Be aware of others when communicating and avoid talking over each other.

Refrain from using general chat during operations; use designated channels for communication.

Key Phrases

"At Ease"

Indicates a relaxed communication environment.

"Battle / Critical Comms / Break, Break, Break"

Important information is about to be shared, and all other conversations should pause.

"Hold Comms"

Temporary silence is requested for a specific reason.

Communication Style

Use 3rd person when speaking to maintain clarity and avoid confusion.

If in use, reference the encrypted code words listed in the ⁠📖codes channel when referring to certain locations, places, or actions. This will give a layer of protection against stream snipers and griefers. If you don't have access to the channel, let a member of command know and you may be granted temporary clearance.

Rescue Priority

Always accept beacons

Accept incoming requests for assistance or rendezvous.

Peel for rescues

• Quickly provide support and protection during rescue missions.

Streaming Etiquette

Streaming permissions

Ensure appropriate permissions are granted for streaming activities. If you need to leave, inform the team in advance.

Social Interactions

Avoid adding friends you don't know to maintain security and trust.

Operational Conduct

Butts in seats

When conducting quantum travel, ensure you are seated whenever possible. If not possible, use the sit emote, and remain seated.

Be on time

Be punctual and ready to participate in operations.

No flying crazy

Maintain a controlled and coordinated flying style during operations. Do not take unnecessary risks.

Walk during ground combat

Move cautiously and tactically during ground engagements.

Briefing Protocol

Ground and Air teams will be announced and posted for reference.

Ensure the availability of ample airspace for maneuvering. Do not crowd other players.

Roleplay and Story Experiences

Encourage roleplaying and immersive storytelling experiences for streaming events.

Organization Events

Prior to org events, imprint at Hurston L1 for coordination.

In the event of a server crash (30K), regroup within 30 minutes.

After the event, you can re-imprint back to your home station.
