Rules of Certification
- Ideally, all engagements against AI must be completed on a server with an average fps of 8 or more. This won't prevent a certification from occurring, however.
- All certifications must be witnessed by an a Level 4+ FPS certified member or member of command.
- Certification Observer (L4+ or member of command) has the right to grant a pass or fail based on game bugs if they believe the applicant has overcome the task.
- Game bugs or glitches do not affect Level 6+ certification, and members must overcome all circumstances presented, intended or otherwise.
- Ranks up to Level 6 will require recertification every 180 days in order to remain. If an individual fails to re-certify, they will drop one level.
- The use and wear of the Heavy Armor uniform variant, as unlocked at L5, can be withdrawn if the Uniform Policy is not adhered to as written by the medic.
- For Level 6 certification, the individual asking to level up does not select the competitor to PVP against, officers and other L6 individuals will come together to identify the challenge.
- Points to be observed during L4 and L5 testing will be Leadership (giving orders), Communication (clear concise statements), Situational Awareness (enemy call-outs), and a Calm Mind (patience and lack of stress).
Level 6* Certification
- Level 6* is awarded to only the top five players on the FPS PVP leader board.
- To be placed on the leader board, an individual must be L6 and challenge someone already in the top five.
- The winner of the challenge will gain, or hold onto, the L6* award.
- If someone ranked L6* loses the challenge, they will have the L6* award removed, but will retain the L6 certification.
- If the challenger loses the challenge, they will remain at L6 and have a one week cool down before being able to challenge again.
- If you are challenged to a 1v1 you are not allowed to decline the challenge and will have to partake in the request within the next 15 days or lose automatically.
- If you do not show up to the challenge for any reason you will lose the challenge
- If a person takes part in a challenge, they cannot be challenged for one week after the last challenge.
- Grenades and heavy weapons are restricted unless previously agreed upon by both combatants.
Level 4 & 5 Grading
Levels 4 and 5 are graded on a subjective rubric to gauge the abilities of the candidate. The abilities under quest are as follows:
- Leadership
- Communication
- Situational Awareness
- Calm Mind Under Fire
