Welcome to RS1

Hello incoming members, and welcome to RS1. You are probably here to find out how Rescue Squad One works, how to promote, and become a fully-fledged member. This may be a wordy message, but we want to make sure you have all of the information you need. First thing's first, the base role of the server is called "Citizen", this role will open up the rest of the server for you. Some of you may be getting into Star Citizen for the first time and may want some help learning the ropes, you will want to also select the "New Player" role. Both the "Citizen" and "New Player" roles can be found in the 👉pick-roles tab.

New Players

If you are wanting to learn, we have a section dedicated to new players. The "New Player" role will give you access to the new player chat where you can ask questions to any of our Rescue Academy Instructors

Citizens

Those of you who have some experience with Star Citizen or are new to Star Citizen, make sure you pick up the "Citizen" role so you have access to the rest of the server. Do not be afraid to join VC's, most everyone here wants to help others and will not be bothered if you join them in a VC. Once you have played around in the server for a little while, you may want to go and become more than just a Citizen. That is where the ⭐promotions-info chat comes into play. (It is located a little farther down near the 🎫ticket-center.) There you can see the requirements for each rank that we have within this server.

Age

Each rank has an age requirement. In order to get seriously involved with the server, you will need to be at least 16+ years of age. If you are under the age of 16, you will not be cast away and shunned, it just means you will be unable to be promoted until you are of age. You may Join the Rescue Academy as an Cadet. Just choose the Rescue Academy Role in the ⭐division-information tab

Events

Each rank has an event requirement. Your participation in an event is logged in the 📋event-log, where we will be looking to confirm if you have come to any official events. To get counted for an event, you will need to @ yourself in the thread created for the event. Official events are any events that are hosted by someone of the rank of Officer or higher. Any events hosted by DJ also count.

Rescues

Each rank has a set number of rescues you must participate in. Rescues are anything you do where you help someone in Star Citizen from picking up Rescue Beacons to picking up a Transport Request. When posting a rescue in the 🚑rescue-log, make sure you have a screenshot and a short description of what happened.

Picking a Career

This is used to identify what roles each member of the Org would like to be a part of. When you rank up to the rank of "Medic Recruit", these tags will be used in tandem with our 🛑on-duty system. When there is a rescue request sent to our server, specific members with these roles will be @ when a rescue comes up.

Joining the RSI Org Page

When you want to be promoted, make sure you have gone to https://robertsspaceindustries.com/orgs/RSQUAD1

Help Center

The 🎫ticket-center is a great way to ask any questions you may have or to bring up any suggestions you might have to the RS1 command. They will do their best to respond to your ticket within a few days and will take any feedback into consideration as they work to make RS1 a better community for everyone.
