Eligibility

Commanders, Captains, Officers, and NCOs can vote. Each member has one vote.

Decision-Making

Clear agenda or proposal is presented. Members vote "For," "Against," or "Abstain."

Voting System

Majority vote required. Abstentions do not count. "For" and "Against" votes determine the outcome.

Majority

In general, the total number of eligible NCO voters determines majority. Example: With 15 NCOs, 8 "For" are votes needed for a majority.

Results

Results announced after voting ends. Majority decision implemented.

Ties

Commanding officer(s) have the deciding vote in case of a tie.

Commander's Veto Power

Commanders can veto decisions in exceptional cases that go against squad interests or policies.

NCO Promotion Votes

Confirming an NCO promotion will be a vote withheld to Officer and above.

Disciplinary Voting

Disciplinary votes are unique and will be comprised of Officer and above, with the addition of three randomly selected NCOs.
